Penn State Law LL.M. Application Requirements
for NUM Students and Alumni
Academic Year 2023-2024
Penn State Law welcomes all qualified NUM law students and alumni to apply for Penn State Law’s LL.M. program for academic year 2023-2024 (August 2023 – May 2024). Qualified applicants must hold a first degree (B.A.) in law or a second degree (M.A.) in law; or, be a candidate for graduation no later than July 31, 2022. Enrolled students are eligibile obtain part-time campus jobs during residency, and can earn between $400 - $800/month, but to obtain a student visa, admitted students must prove financial resources conforming to the cost of attendance requirements.
FOR CONSIDERATION OF TOP TUITION SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ($35,000 TO ONE (1) FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP), A COMPLETED APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 15, 2022.
On or after December 15, 2022, the Admissions Committee will review all completed applications and schedule interviews for top applicants. “Top applicant” determination is made according to: 1/ academic performance, and 2/ the quality of the submitted documents. Work and volunteer experience as well as economic standing also contribute. Applicants will be notified for interviews on or about January 5. On or after January 15, applicants will be notified regarding admissions and tuition scholarship decisions.
